Adolf Hitler, born on April 20, 1889, in Braunau am Inn, Austria, is one of history's most infamous figures, known primarily for his role as the leader of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945. An ambitious artist in his early years, Hitler moved to Vienna with dreams of becoming a painter but faced numerous rejections from art schools. This period of his life was marked by poverty and a growing interest in politics and German nationalism.

Hitler's political journey began after World War I, during which he served as a soldier. The war's aftermath left him embittered towards the Treaty of Versailles, which imposed heavy reparations on Germany. He joined the German Workers' Party in 1919, which later transformed into the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP), or the Nazi Party.
